Marylou Bernasek, 69, born June 2, 1947 in Chester, Ill., beloved mother, sister, mentor, and friend passed away Dec. 27, 2016 at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz. Our sincere sympathy and condolences go out to Marylou’s family and friends in this time of loss.

Susan Dollins Astrauskas
Another classmate has left us. Susan Dollins Astrauskas passed away on November 23rd, 2016, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Visitation will be held at Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home, Collinsville, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, November 28th, and a separate visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 29th, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caseyville.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Ladies of ’65 met again yesterday (Monday) at Alfonzo’s Pizzeria for their November get-together. If you’d like to join them for their HUGE Christmas party, be sure and get in touch with Joyce as soon as possible!
Loraine Smith
Loraine Smith, mother of classmate and Senior Class President Paul Smith, passed away on November 17th, 2016 in Tullahoma, Tennessee, at the age of 98 years. Many will remember her as the lady behind the counter at the Ostle Drug Store Soda Fountain. Our condolences and sympathy are extended to all of her family and friends. Larry Behrends
We received word of Larry’s passing late. His services were held Monday, October 17th at Herr Funeral Home. Our sincere condolences and sympathy are extended to Larry’s family and friends in this time of loss.
Larry was buried with full military honors at Jefferson-Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.

Lynn Ackerman Granger
Lynn Ackerman Granger passed away at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, September 13th, 2016. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones. Lynn lost her valiant battle against Leukemia.
Visitation will be from 10:00 through 2:00 on Friday, September 16th, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Mehlville, Missouri. The family will hold a celebration of life after the visitation at the Collinsville American Legion from 3:00 until 7:00 PM Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a monetary donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Lynn’s honor.
